Open House: Try Curling for Members' friends & family

We're hosting a free Try Curling Open House! Aksarben Curling members can bring friends and family to come give it a try. It'll be a great way for folks to get a taste of curling! As we celebrate 65 years of Aksarben Curling, this is a way for us to open our doors and share this awesome sport with our community.
Members may bring as many people as they would like, but please register your guests online so we can plan for participants. People can stop in any time during the event, but we encourage people to arrive no later than 1:30pm so guests can experience each station.
This won't be a full Learn to Curl. Rather, we'll have stations for people to try different aspects of curling: sliding, sweeping, stone delivery, and a mini-end of gameplay.

ITEMS OF NOTE
- Park in Lot 25 and enter the west doors.
- We curl on the Holland Ice (past the big stairs and left at the skate shop).
- Please wear clean, grippy shoes like tennis shoes.
- The ice rink is kept at 40 degrees - please dress accordingly. Layers are recommended. Blue jeans are not.
